A group of us had gone up to Los Angeles Crest Highway and about 5 to 10 minutes into the ride our point man (Lenny) lost it. The person behind him (Max) was unable to stop in time. Luckily I was the #3 man and saw the whole thing. Lenny lost his front end and the bike cocked and threw him up over the handlebars. His bike went left and Lenny tumbled right. Maxed Locked up his rear in a an attempt to avoid hitting Lenny but ended up t-boning Lenny. Thank the heavens that they both slid into a lookout spot and not off the road. Just over the look out was huge drop into a ravine. Lenny had to be airlifted for numerous injuries. Max lucked out with just a few bumps and bruises. I'm glad my boy is safe and still riding today (on his slow azz RC-51 =P).
